The Royal Wedding

Here’s the moment we have all been patiently waiting for… Prince Harry & Meghan Markle’s big day is finally underway with Just a couple of hours to go before it all begins…

We are just super duper excited to see what the flowers are going to look like! Phillipa Craddock, one of our all time favourite floral designers, has had the privileged of being asked to create Harry & Meghan’s design’s for their special day! Phillipa is an exceptionally talented, self taught florist who established her successful business nine years ago from her studio down in Fulham, Central London. She has always been keen to use seasonal flowers and foliage especially from local growers, whilst maintaining sustainability within her designs – this principle is also the preferred approach for the Royal family…hence many of the plants and greenery for Harry & Meghan’s wedding being sourced directly from the royals own crown estate and Windsor great park.

Our bouquet prediction:

We are thinking (hoping) Meghan has gone for a semi loose hand tied style bouquet, to include classic Peonies, White garden roses, lily of the valley, jasmine, British herbs, asparagus ferns, myrtle, and maybe the odd orchid tucked in there too? By tradition, at least one sprig of Myrtle has been used within every royal bridal bouquet since Queen Victoria’s wedding, the evergreen shrub is thought to symbolise Love & Hope.
